Meike Jentjens is a freelance music journalist and content editor based in Amsterdam. She works as a writer, (video) interviewer, speaker and moderator.
Her work focuses on electronic music, club / pop culture, and the live entertainment industry. Meike has been serving as Editor-in-Chief of Amsterdam Dance Event since 2022, where she shapes editorial direction, writes and guides the writers, and leads research into the evolving landscape of electronic music – next to live reporting all year round for numerous news outlets.
Alongside her journalism, Meike works in copywriting and communications, and hosts and promotes talks and panels across the music industry. She holds a degree in journalism and has over eight years of freelance experience exploring musical and broader cultural shifts.
